3) Successful deer hunting is determined by your actions all year long.
4) Reading as well as year long scouting plays a very big role in hunter success.
5) Talking to game wardens and local biologist is also part of the big picture.
All of these things play an important role in your success. By making mistakes during the off season scouting, you have plenty of time to make the necessary adjustments to your ultimate game plan, come opening day.
Successful hunters know that preseason scouting is not all that it takes to be consistently successful year after year. Well thought out plans come together only after many hunter errors have been corrected.
This is not to say that a successful hunt can’t come together with little work or preparation, but it suggest that you are more likely to reap rewards consistently if you work and improve your gameplan all year long.
